This time I went to a Gundam event in Yokohama, so I'll report on it.

As usual, I've put together a video as well, if you'd like to see it.

The event is called "GUNDAM PORT YOKOHAMA" and will be held from February 19th to March 13th. Click here for the official page.

The event will be held at Landmark Plaza, MARKIS Minatomirai, Minatomirai Station, Bashamichi Station, Motomachi Chinatown Station, and GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA.

This time, I went to Landmark Plaza, MARK IS Minatomirai, and Minatomirai Station, and saw the following.

-Freedom Gundam (MARK IS Minato Mirai 1F)

-White Base Captain's Seat (MARK IS Minato Mirai, basement 4th floor)

-Gunpla display (Landmark Plaza 1F)

-Last Shooting Balloon (Landmark Plaza 1F)

The first event was Freedom Gundam, held in the central atrium on the first floor of MARKIS Minato Mirai. This is a place where events are always held, such as concerts and various other events. In the center is the first Gundam, and on top is the Freedom Gundam. I heard it was made of balloons, but it was quite well done.

The Freedom Gundam floating around the third floor.

The next place I saw was the White Base Captain's Seat, located on the 4th basement floor of MARKIS Minato Mirai.

Personally, I thought it was not very well made. There was also a handset in Captain Bright's right hand, but it was a different color and size, and I think that part of it made it look cheap.

There is also a model of the White Base in the back.

On the left front side, there is also a Gundam, a Gun Cannon, and a Gun Tank.

The third is the Gunpla exhibit. It is on the first floor of Landmark Plaza.

I don't make Gunpla, but it was very beautiful and fun to look at.

This is the art of the runner which is the part of the frame of a plastic model that you throw away.

They also have a stamp rally, so if you are interested, you should check the official page for the location.

The last one is the last shooting balloon. This is also on the first floor of Landmark Plaza. It's the main attraction of this year's event. It recreates the famous scene from the first generation, where the Gundam shoots at the Geong head. This is also made entirely of balloons, and I thought it was pretty amazing. Rather than just balloons, there were also shadows and smeared paint, giving it a nice touch.

On this horizontal monitor, famous scenes from the first anime are cut out. It's a good idea to reminisce while looking at the various quotes.

There will also be projection mapping at the Landmark Dockyard Garden from March 8. If you are planning to go, please be careful to keep warm as it will be cold at night.
